When you walk into Donato’s Floral, you’re walking into a family tradition that began in 1988. Victor Donato and his sister opened their first shop in a converted drugstore in Crystal-Robbinsdale after Noble Drug’s retiring pharmacists encouraged them to buy the building. Victor was 24 with no formal training, just a natural sense of design and the determination to make it work.

Our Story and Team

Today, we operate from our Maple Grove warehouse next to the Keller Williams building, with plenty of parking and space for creativity. Our designers, Angie Zeger and Maria Donato, have worked here for years, crafting flowers for local families, businesses, and even the Minnesota Twins.

What Makes Us Different

We don’t design blindly. Every arrangement begins with your card message. Sending flowers for a pet who passed? We soften the palette and tone. Writing an apology? A Legacy of Heart

Victor passed away in February 2014 at age 51, but his sister continues to lead the shop with his same philosophy: read the card, understand the moment, and make it personal. Every stem arranged here still carries his approach to care and integrity.
